XCOM: Enemy Within is a very popular standalone expansion to the 2012 XCOM: Enemy Unknown. In fact, we have featured the title in a few of our best app lists. On the downside, the game isn’t exactly the cheapest. Usually priced at $9.99, it’s hard for some users to justify the purchase in a world where many mobile games can be purchased for just a few bucks, or played entirely for free. The good news is now you can get it for a lot cheaper! XCOM: Enemy Unknown’s cost has been dropped to $2.99. This puts the game in a whole other territory, as the price is now considered normal as opposed to excessive.
This strategy game will surely keep you entertained for a long time, especially considering the standalone expansion pack brings new soldiers, weapons, story elements and enemies. The team has also included multiplayer mode, allowing you to build a squad and “dominate your opponent”.
